Bugsee Chrome will be shut down on Dec/31/2022
Despite enthusiastic use of Bugsee for Chrome by many of our customers over the past six years, we've found that there hasn't been as much demand for this type of service as we anticipated. The Bugsee team is committed to providing world-class bug and crash reporting products for mobile apps. Mobile will continue to be our sole focus moving forward. We apologize for any inconvenience. If you have questions or thoughts about this transition, please feel free to read the FAQs below.
Why is the Bugsee Chrome solution being retired?
Bugsee is committed to delivering exceptional software and services to our customers. It's in our nature to innovate and try new things, and it was in this spirit that we introduced Bugsee for Chrome over six years ago. Unfortunately, not enough people have chosen this path. As we look to the future, and all the opportunities ahead, we need to focus our efforts on new areas of growth. Our focus will be to continue to provide world-class bug and crash reporting products for mobile apps.
What is the timeline?
Bugsee for Chrome will be retired on Dec/31/2022. After that date you won’t be able to create new reports using Bugsee for Chrome. However, existing reports will be available until Apr/1/2023.
How does it affect my subscription?
Bugsee for Chrome was always offered for free, so it does not affect your current subscription.
Why not keep current support ‘as is’?
Regular changes in the browser and plugin functionalities, technologies, and requirements make maintaining our existing support cost prohibitive.
